Title: Mach4 pmdx 411 out of band spindle

Pmdx 411, mach4 and gecko g540 on a lathe

In my original profile I have motor3 used as an indexer and it works well.   I would like to use motor 3 as a spindle at times.  Setting up a new profile that has ob1 paired to motor 3 and spindle page selected as step/dir ob1.  What pmdx plugin spindle settings do I select?

Would I have to make wiring changes to use it as a spindle for the new profile (Please say no!)?

Search the PMDX plug-in release notes for "out of band" (http://www.pmdx.com/PMDX-SmartBOB-USB-Plug-In then look for link for most recent release notes, or if you have the plug-in installed, look in Mach4Hobby\Plugins\PMDX-SmartBOB-USB).  You will see that it does not support out-of-band motors.

They do have a spindle speed mode called "step pulse frequency".  That might work.
