Title: PMDX-340 Drivers
Post by: HDVideo on January 04, 2016, 05:37:51 PM
Does the PMDX-340 use one of your breakout board products? What about the drivers? Basically, what's in the box?

Thanks,
Ed

The box contains one large PCB with all the electronics including power supply,
drivers, and breakout/interface functions. Other than that, a transformer, power
connectors, a fan, and the E-Stop switch. Internal wiring is minimized as much as
possible.

The motor drivers are short circuit and disconnect/reconnect protected even under
power, so replaceable driver modules are not needed.

If you want to use Mach4 and USB, the PMDX-411 will plug directly on the back of
the PMDX-340.
