Title: Relay K1 turns on when computer booted
Post by: ChrisFKB on September 25, 2020, 01:27:43 PM
I have noticed that booting the Mach3 computer with my machine powered on will cause K1 to close contacts. If my router is switched on, it spins up. That could be dangerous. edit: I have a PMDX-126 rC
What could be causing this behavior and is there an easy way to fix it?
Thank you!

Enable the "charge pump" feature on the PMDX-126, and configure Mach3 to output the charge pump signal on pin 17 of the parallel port.  That is exactly what the charge pump feature was made to prevent.

That's it! It's right there in the manual, but I skipped over the charge pump.
Thank you!
