Parallel Port breakout boards, motherboards, and dedicated accessories / Will this PMDX-1PARPCI board work with a mpg and mach3

Hello everyone,
I am having trouble with my current pci parallel port card from startech it is not letting me use the selector switches or the resolution switches on the mpg. I have been trying to add a manual pulse generator on my desktop running windows xp and Mach3. The desktop has a onboard parallel port and it is for running the machine controller. So my question is will this (PMDX-1PARPCI ) board work for this without any foreseen problems. Has anyone used this card to add a mpg for a router before and if so what were the results?? If anyone has any pointers or suggestions please don't hesitate
