Title: Running a pmdx 126 board. Can I use one of the relays to control auto oiler?
Post by: Jackal on May 31, 2020, 01:33:52 AM
I have a pmdx 126 with a 107 spindle drive.
This was built back in 2010-11.
The timer for the auto oiler is giving out.
Can the relays on the 126 board be used to operate the oiler?
Say, on for 7 seconds every 10 minutes?
How would I go about setting that up.
This thing has been flawless since being built.
My familiarity with the whole system is a little stale.
Thanks,
Jack

Yes, probably, presuming one of the relays is not currently used.  Since you build the system in 2010-ish, I presume you are running Mach3, right?  I am way rusty on Mach3, but I think is some way to write a macro or something like that) that could do what you need.  I would suggest asking in the MachSupport "Mach3" support forum as this is mostly a Mach question.
