SmartBOB controllers and dedicated accessories / How much power is available on J9 +5volt

I have a small servo driver board that uses 5 volts for logic.  When I tried to use
J9 +5 it started to work then no longer.  With out any connection to J9-5volt I still
measure 4.8 volt.   I measured the board needs at 20 to 30 ma.  Is that too much?
I wondered if I damaged the component D8.   How much current is too much?

Ah very good.  The supplied driver fixed the problem.

I have a brand new pmdx 422.   I download the drivers and it appears to install but
when I plug in usb it cannot find driver.  I have 64 bit windows 7.
