Mach4 build V2-2630 has been released. It can be downloaded here:

Build V2-2630 has been released and as of 19 August 2015 the
web site is now generating license files that work with the
new build. These license files will not work with older builds
and old style license files will not work with build V2-2630.

This new build is principally about updating the methods used
by the license system. A change was needed because the company
that provided the old license technology was not responding to
needed changes as development moved to newer Microsoft tools.
The new system was created in-house and no longer relies on
outside technology.

The new license technology still works in the same basic fashion
and still uses a PCID to generate a license file unique to the
computer which is represented by the PCID. The PCID signature
methodology now mimics the system used by Microsoft in their
Windows OS products. If a change to the computer triggers the
need to re-register the computer with Microsoft, it will also
require a new license file for Mach4.

The new style PCIDs will begin with the characters "MCH" followed
by a long string of hex digits. The method for installing a new
license file has not changed. If you want to be able to revert
to an older version of Mach4, be sure to save your old license
file.

Build V2-2630 comes with a new default screen set called wx4 in
the default Mach4Mill profile. There is lots of new stuff there,
but it is still somewhat a work in process. Some of the LUA that
runs in this screen set has problems on Windows XP. If you prefer
the wxMach screen set you can reload it by using View > Load Screens
and select the desired screen set from the Screens folder.
