Purchased a Mathew's PM-727 CNC with a 126C board and ESS...it ran fine in demo...got it home, had to build new controller box, so had to completely tear down and reassemble...
Added E/S and home switches...E/S led turns red when pushed...ready to test homing, but can't get any movement by jogging in MACH 4.
did the push and hold test and the E/S turns red and outputs enabled goes out like button test...no movement on mill...motors warm
verified all wiring hookups to original pics and identifiers...
do these boards need grounding?
also, the board and ESS have Ethernet...which component do I connect computer to? Is there a startup sequence between computer Mach 4 and board?
