TechShop Detroit will have a booth at NAMES this year and among the items
on display will be a sample of the MiniMill that will be offered as a build kit/class
at the upcoming CNC Workshop. The NAMES Expo is in Detroit, MI 18-19 April.

TechShop is hosting the return of the CNC Workshop at their facility this year.
TechShop, Joe Katona, and Ron Ginger have organized the revival of this long
popular show.

The CNC MiniMill build class details are here:

Vendors participating in this project include:

Little Machine Shop - manual mill to be converted
CNC Fusion - CNC mechanical conversion kit
PMDX - CNC controller and motor drivers
CNC4PC - motors and cables
Newfangled Solutions - Mach4 software

There have been two previous CNC machine build classes held at earlier
CNC Workshops and they were quite successful and sold out each time.

The demo minimill for the CNC Workshop build class was a big
hit at NAMES. All 12 units are now taken. There was some
discussion about making more of them available after the
CNC Workshop show. Is there any interest?
