126 self test button
« on: July 21, 2018, 08:50:07 PM »
The idea is a 2006 year MultiCam 1000 4’x8’. Setting up Mach 4 and the ESS all made sense. The leds say they are doing the right thing. Also on the PMDX 126 the leds show according to the quick start guide in the manual. The gecko G214 self test button run the motors as described in the manual. But I can not make the self test button on the 126 run the motors. Or sending a test line from Mach 4. when pressing the self test button all the leds do as the manual says. just no movement from the motors. I have tried multiple ways of wiring. the crude diagram is how i have it currently. I am trying to run it in the basic mode.
I feel it must be a simple problem but i am missing it!
thanks for now!!!!

The G214 is different from the older 200 series models. You must
connect both +5 and Gnd for them to run.
