This is an extension cable for USB 2.0 type B ports. The device end of the cable mates with a 5 pin 0.1" centers PCB header and the panel mount end is a USB type B jack. This cable can be used with SmartBOB-USB boards.
Installation polarity matters. The black wire of the plug goes on pin 1 of the header. The reference designator for the header (white ink lettering such as J2) will be at the end of the header that is pin 1. This pin will also have a square pad on the bottom side of the circuit board.
